Getting started

Connect, unlock, shield, send. About two minutes.

1. Connect your wallet

Open the app and connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. The wallet stays your public wallet; nothing in it changes.

2. Unlock your private account

SHADOW asks for one signature. It costs nothing and sends nothing. Your private keys are derived from it, in your browser. The first time, it asks twice to check that your wallet always signs the same way, otherwise your account could not be recovered.

Only sign the SHADOW message inside the SHADOW app. That signature is the key to your private balance: a site that asks you to sign the same text could spend it.

3. Shield

In Shield, pick SOL or USDC and an amount. Round amounts (0.1, 0.5, 1 SOL, 100 USDC...) blend in best. Your wallet signs one deposit, the guard screens it, and the funds appear in your private balance a few seconds later.

4. Send

In Send, paste a Solana address or a SHADOW address and pick an amount. Choose Advanced to leave with the next wave (most private) or Fast to arrive in seconds. The links meter tells you what could still connect the payment to you.

Receiving privately

Your SHADOW address (top of the overview, starts with shadow:) lets others pay you inside the pool. Nothing appears on your public wallet.
